What is an Automation?
An automation is a sequence of emails that goes out on its own whenever a new subscriber joins your list - whether they sign up through your form, the API, or a manual import. The two most common uses are welcome sequences that introduce subscribers to your brand and drip campaigns that deliver content over days or weeks.
Setting up an automation
From the Automations page, click New Automation to create one. Give it a name, pick the list it should run on, and choose whether it should also fire for subscribers you add manually.

Once saved, you can add as many emails as you want to the sequence. Each email has its own delay, so you can space out a welcome series across days or weeks. The automation's detail page shows the full list of emails and lets you edit, reorder, or pause individual ones.
